In the northern part of the state, near the upper reaches of the Hudson River, there is a town named Sleepy Hollow. As is often the case, small towns hide big mysteries. A chain of bloody events commenced one ordinary night. A secret marriage and a new will have inflicted a dreadful curse upon this town. A terrible legend has become reality. a headless horseman would fit right in, here at ASG… wouldn't even know the difference unless she told us. >; )
& before anyone asks, the 334MB file size is correct, allowing free, fast FF DLs (<500Mb)… yippee! the much larger HD space required, 925MB, is correct also. the original file is highly compressed. yet the extraction & installation doesn't take long, which is unusual for such a compressed file.

1st blush, 30 minutes in…
smooth play. cutscenes are choppy for me, but they're not long or frequent. the game itself is pleasant so far. a doorway too dark to enter, a dead candle nearby & a burning tree in the previous scene. typical fare.
tell me that guy doesn't sound just like Vincent Price, who's been dead 20 years. nice touch! okay, now back to it, i have a bridge to repair…
Maybe the January drought will not happen in 2013, at least it has started well.

I let him go and choose the tiles himself, as I was busy…silly silly me!!

he said, "i'll be right back, i have to walk outside, anywhere!" so he stumbled along down the sidewalk, then tripped on the curb & a town bus ran over him, killing him instantly.
everyone ran outside. the brother was cradling his crumpled body in his arms, when the barkeep said…

some of the best things in my life i initially resisted. some of the worst things in my life i fooled myself into thinking it was everything i wanted.
That's life…sometimes we only realize it when it's not there anymore or when we at last have that one thing we wanted so badly it turns out not to be that great after all. Live and learn…the only thing is…we will stop living without being able to learn everything so we only can make the best of it or at least try.
Sometimes you have to think and sometimes you just have to follow your heart, it's just that…when do we have to think and when to follow.?…

What a lovely relaxing game to play. Plenty of HOS although towards the end, some of the items were a little hard to see. No map, but you don't need it. Puzzles a tad on the easy side, it played smoothly, no hiccups & I enjoyed the storyline. Good job, worth the d/load. Thanks ASG!!

Just finish the game,a very good game.
One of the games where I could not stop playing, nice graphics, plenty of HOS's, easy mini games…lacking environmental sounds…so I left the music on, which was not too bad. Had difficulties collecting all the golden horseshoes and found it quite difficult to spot things in the HOS's at times….however…good story, enjoyed the game very much, thank you ASG!!!

No I did not get them all, not sure how many there are to be honest, I know you can find them in the HOS's as well as during the game and then buy trophies in the trophy room, but I did not manage to buy everything…so if anybody knows how many you are supposed to find, let me know

Hi Teven – it seems that 2012 was a bad year for alot of people. I'm hearing that so much. I'm sorry about kitty…I lost my 14 year old dog (among other things) and that started me also. We have to get out of ourselves and back into living. I'm the kind of person that digs a hole for a while to recuperate, you may be also. Hi Jeannie! Its funny you say that. I was just talking with my Mum and she said the same thing. That 2012 was a bad year for a lot of people so many of us are hoping for this year to be a better one. Thats whats good about a new year, that you can leave (or try to) the bad things behind you and try to look forward. You haven't had a easy year either, I remember you talked about going through some hard times. Maybe 2012 was just one of those years, like you can have a bad day but instead it became a bad year =/

I always draw away from people when I feel really down and then when I feel better I feel like I can face people again. Maybe its a natural reaction since most animals do the same when they are sick.
Just coming here and starting to download games is really a big sign that I'm starting to feel better and I'm getting all excited now seeing everyone and seeing all the games that has been released. I'm thinking that I have to play the Christmas ones first so that they dont feel all outdated if I play them when its spring =)

I've heard though that they cant be out in the cold because they have no fur to protect them. It wouldn't be an issue because where I live right now I wouldn't be able to let him out anyway but I'm planning on moving soon enough. I've never seen one in real life, maybe they are not so common here.
I've always thought those bald cats looks like aliens, but then I am very amazed and curious about life in outer space so maybe that is a cat for me

they're hobbling around somewhere. they should be hopping mad… but of course they can't.
they're called "Sphinx" cats. the original hairless breed began in Mexico. in 1966, the breed really took off in Ontario, Canada. although extremely rare, a hairless cat can naturally occur in any litter of any breed.

David is right we do have Breeders of the Hairless Cats here in Ontario, and they are pretty expensive, I must say! Rarely do you get any in a normal litter but it can happen, although you are more often likely to get a long haired cat in a litter of short haired parents. Too bad I didn't know about your kittie passing before as I just placed my last two kittens in their forever home last Thursday! Anyway, I have seen the hairless cats in person, and at first they do look like little aliens, but it doesn't take long to get past their baldness and see how really cute they are. I understand they are quite affectionate and smart. You are right, in the colder months they are best kept inside, and like you not having cat hair on everything would be a bonus, lol!

this is a new game. i just finished the bonus chapter. not the greatest, but i can't fault it. its worth a play.
look for the sequel, Cursed Fates 2: The Footless Rabbit.
i'm surprised that's not a more common sight, with all those key chains in souvenir shops everywhere. where are the adoption programs for crippled bunnies? & just how lucky can a rabbit's foot be when it wasn't even lucky for the original owner? such a strange world we live in.

Yes, I am getting to play now thanks to you, David, Seek to Find, Necrotisist and the other members that helped me with all my computer woes. I'm a slow player so what takes you guys 4 hours to play takes me 4 days.
Plus, I decided on New Year's Eve I was going to tame the clutter in my house. I've been purging every since. The only thing left is a small closet, which I will finish tomorrow and then it's back to games.
