Take on the role of a lowly stagehand in an opera company tasked with solving a deadly mystery! The Opera troupe is invited by the reclusive Count Vladd Vansig III to his small hamlet to perform a special Opera for him. OK I have almost finished this game and tried to find a walkthrough so I don’t have to ask ASG for help. I am at the telephone poll and have the shepherd’s crook to knock something down from the right side of the Telephone poll except I can’t get it to work. Please anyone can you help? I looked through the strategy guide from BFG the 5 min trial and there are no answers there either.

Hi kim, Its the freezer key thats on the telegraph pole, and your right to use the crook to knock it down, it just has to be placed in the correct spot. I put mine just under the key and that worked.

Thanks for the tip but mine just won’t budge I guess I have to start all over who knows maybe I missed something else so it won’t let me go any further. I right clicked all over that area and nothing happened

Hello, I have tried repeatedly to figure out how to get to the tower. I do not have the heart shaped key and do not know where to go from here. I have already put the valve back in the garden and the light in the tower came on. Got the music box open also. The tasks list keeps saying go to the tower. How do I get in? I am at a standstill. Thanks for your help.

The heart shaped key you will find it when you put the ruby and shaphire in the statues eyes.

Im the exact same! The crook wont work on the telephone pole. I thought i was going crazy but it seems it could be a glitch in the game

Ok, call me a moron, but can someone please tell me how to get the heart-shaped key. BTW, Marge, I have already searched the map in the notebook and it keeps glowing at the tower square, but without the key, I cannot get in. Where is the key?

For the heart key you have to give the statue in the manor the ruby and saphire for his eyes ( the guy with the frozen arm) he opens his hand and you get the heart key for outside.
Also I can’t get the shepards crook to work on the telephone pole. I have tried it a million ways and nothing works. Any Sugestions?????
OOOOOOOOOOOoh, this hurts. I just deleted the save in wich I had this problem. Not knowing where to find the heartkey. And what to do with the two jewels.
I figured out the key on the telephone poll for anyone who needs help. I put it under the sparkly part and to the right so it was right underneight and it worked. So i guess you just don’t actually put it on the sparly.

The shepherds crook was pretty difficult, it took me several tries before I found the right place to put it. I placed it right below the key and it worked.

It also took me FOREVER to get the key down. You actually want to put the hook part on the hanging wires below the key. They are rather faint. Also, I am not talking about the main electrical wires. Hopefully that helps others who get stuck there, like I did.
Also had the same problem. Always try to play games without walkthroughs but this time I cheated,

Go as far foward as you can. Than slowly move your cursor to the left, to some sort of a ladder or hanging fence. Just move slowly then your arrow will appear.Just above the big chair. And you can get out again. I had the same problem, haha. Have fun

thanks ASG, i really like this game..but i got stuck in the electrical room. i can’t put the spider to the web coz the spider is listed in the hidden object that need to be found.. i try to exit and restart the game, but the spider still listed. was it an error program or what??
Strange things going on in this game. Maybe someone knows what is wrong. First time I played the HEARTKEY dissapeared out of my inventory. So started a new game. Now, still at the beginning. Beeing in the electrical room, I have to put the spider in the web,but………………the spider was an object in my list so it dissapeared. Now I can’t go on more. Anyone had the same problem?????
